Hello Bob, Nice to make your acquaintance, thanks for the update, and I am so pleased that things went well. Your mother has such a wonderful sense of fun despite the crap thrown at her by this big 'C'word. this will be the beginning of a time of enrichment of your mothers life, and with a bit of normality thrown in which she well deserves. Will send her a card or two to cheer up her temporary captivity, that's one little bird that will hate having it's wings clipped. Pat xx

Monday gratitude I'm grateful today for a few hours away from work. For finding a wonderful dentist who filled two teeth for me this morning completely painlessly, As a type this I have my basset hound resting his soft warm chin on my feet as he hasn't yet noticed the wild rabbits running around the garden outside the window. He has no chance of ever catching one of course, but he likes to give a token growl at the window and the rabbits pretend to be scared just to make him feel good. I'm grateful for all of this and for another beautiful day.
I'm grateful today for sitting on the beach in the sun with my husband and son - two of my favourite people in a fantastic location - wishing you some sunny lovely relaxing healing days Gabi xxx
