Made it to airshow...
Saw the handful of aircraft that made it too...and enjoyed their displays
Wasn't sick despite nasty nausea from meds
Wasn't hospitalised with hyperthermia though very shivery cold... even MEN were complaining!
Made it home without major trauma (always a toughie in the mass exodus at the end of a public event, car or no car)
Still have picnic I couldn't eat before so can stay horizontal for evening nibbling mouthfuls between much needed naps
Hi Angel, glad you made it to the airshow but a bit of a disappointment without the Red Arrows and the Vulcan that went sick a day or so ago. Very sorry that the warm sun that invaded Cornwall today didn't make it across to Devon. Mind you I have been in a suburb of Bournemouth when its been tipping it down one side of the road and dry on the other. Have a duvet day Friday to make up for the 'cold through to the marrow' day you had today Angel

Hi Angel, Oh i'm so pleased you made it to the airshow too, I know how much you wanted to go, Hope the suns shining for you today, can't understand why us up in the North are having nice weather at the mo.
ReplyDeleteYour 'picnic' has given me an urge to go and buy a tartan rug and drive off into the country side for one myself....well if the weather stays nice I might,
