Three little heards...

...that have also made me smile since previous post...

* a steam train's whistle

* a ship's foghorn

* funny voice-overs and a few bars of the Only One's Another Girl on Come Dine With Me

  1. Steam train whistles, reminds me of being 11yrs old again; the secondary school I went to in Christchurch, had to go over the railway bridge on the way to & from school. I used to hear the whistle, and would run to the top of the bridge to stand in the steam as the train went under. Ah wonderful, the smell of steam trains and old fashioned ironmongers shops. The ironmongers, there when I was a nipper, still there now, same name, same smell, string and wax and old wood. Pat xxx
